On September 22nd, 2007, the Class of 1965 held a class Birthday Party for everyone - for we all turned 60 years young sometime during the year. We met at 12:00 noon in the historic Blum House (next to the Library) for cake, refreshments, and a chance to gather informally and re-live old times.

A special treat was that the Reunion Committee had invited our 1965 teachers and school staff to join us there. Coach Vergil Fletcher, Helen Biggers, Dallas Harrell, Mary Corlew, Izetta Davis, Bill Determan, Rhoda Gibson, Jan Kirsch, Trudi Monroe, Terry Tayloe, Dean Wallen, and Terri Hayes joined us there. What a wonderful treat to see them all again!

On the evening of September 22nd, 2007, we all met at the Far Oaks Golf Club in Caseyville as the final part of our Birthday Bash weekend. The club offered a jovial setting for all of us to gather and visit together.
